FINALLY... The latest single from the opd is being released as a digital download from audiolife. This is the first time we've ever done this, so please let us know that it is a good idea and we're not giving our fans something they don't want.

PLEASE NOTE!!!

There are two versions of "Outside Of The Inside"  available at this time. The "Clean Version" has all of the two bad words edited out. Safe for all airplay, if you wish.

The "bedroom version" of "Boys Who Wear Make-Up" is just an indication of where it was recorded. This song has a long history. It was written and recorded around 1999 and was slated to be released around that time. Since then, many versions have been attempted, including a couple of run-throughs w/ the 2001 line-up (Henry, Gretz, MacGregor). This version is all Chad playing EVERYTHING and was recorded in 2006.

"Outside Of The Inside" is also all Chad playing and singing every last note. Both songs are from aborted album sessions recorded over the last few years.

The link is on our website and Myspace and maybe facebook if can figure out how...

Jeff Gretz has joined ZAO. He is still very much a member of the opd, but don't tell anyone at church. Look for upcoming live dates very soon.

The opd has moved to a web space, and we couldn't be happier. Due to the fact that we could never login to our other server, we could never update the site. Yeah, I know...sounds like a load of crap, but to be honest...hmmm...wait... it is a load of crap. I take back what I said. We were/are too lazy to update the site. But hopefully that will change.

Band updates, and we do have some, coming soon...maybe.

we have been having trouble with e-mayhem...it has become impossible to send simple e-mails to anyone...we are very sorry that all of our newsletters have been late or haven't been sent at all. we are doing everything we can to correct this problem. look for a new e-mail address soon.

CONELRAD-

we are quite happy to note that conelrad is currently on tour and have a wonderful new album out (if you can just stop listening to the "brian wilson presents smile" cd long enough). it fits quite snugly between yr john coltrane and contortions cds (if you are smart enough to use yr alphabet). for more info check out  www.conelrad.net

LIVE IN PITTSBURGH THIS THURSDAY-

LAVA LOUNGE IN THE SOUTHSIDE OF PITTSBURGH...W/ THE BLACK TIE REVUE...OCTOBER THE 7TH. THURSDAY. 10PM. FOUR BUCKS.

the opd will be on first, so get there early. prepare to rock.

THE ALBUM-

steve moore of zombie is mastering the album. it is almost ready. we need money. simple as that.

HANK IS RECOVERING-

mike henry had a growth of some sort taken off of his arm. this is one of many reasons why the opd hasn't been too busy lately. he seems to be his old miserable self now. there are pictures of the big hole in his arm on the roboto board somewhere. worse than any zombie movie.
